GNC Cleanse Day 2

Okay, I'm halfway there I've made it to Day 2!  I drank my first serving of the cleanse right away in the morning along with a glass of water.   It's amazing what a difference a slice of lemon makes!  Any fruity flavor for that matter.

Breakfast

3/4 cup of Greek Gods Yogurt (Honey and Strawberry)
1 Banana (I sliced it up and put some in the yogurt)
1 handful of frozen Blueberries
1/4 oatmeal flakes (I know that steel cut oats are best, but I'm on a budget and they're twice as expensive as quick oats.   Paying my student loans off  on previously agreed upon dates is slightly more important to me).

(These measurements are approximations since I don't actually measure things.   I just throw them in until it looks right.    These measurements are there for those who want an actual amount to reach something similar to what I've made.)

I layered it up in a bowl parfait style.   I'll have to take a picture and upload it later because it looks so pretty.   This could also be blended up into a smoothie and I would recommend adding 1/2-3/4 cup of spinach along with some milk or water.

I drank a second glass of water and my second cleanse about an hour later.    Then I snacked on almonds and peanut butter (no more than 2 TBSP of peanut butter).    I drank some tea Yogi Calm quite tasty and it put me in a yoga mood :)

Lunch

1 Lean Shake Swiss Chocolate (I enjoy the different flavors)

Tasty homemade apple sauce.   I didn't add brown sugar to this batch, but the ginger gives it a good flavor.


Time for another glass of water and my third cleanse serving at about 2:00 PM.    Took Kiya, my adorable dog to the dog park to get her some run time.    It was just the dog, hubby, and myself at the park.   The cold must've kept most people inside.   We threw the ball for Kiya (ka-eye-yah) and she did the jumps.   She hadn't been able to get a lot of time outside since my husband's surgery so she was really happy.   We got a good workout and some fresh air :)   Drank more water I had about half a powerade bottle.     The hubby and Kiya finished off the rest.

Got home and drank the 4th cleanse serving and a cup of water.    

Supper

Turkey slices
Fresh spinach
1 Banana
1 Orange sliced

Wrap spinach up in turkey slices like a roll up.  Fresh fruit for on the side Nom!   It was a simple, but satisfying supper.   Drank water and tea after supper and only ate fresh fruits and veggies for snacks.

Closing Thoughts

Oh do I miss my carbs and caffeine, but my jeans do fit better (I wear BKE jeans 28X30) or approximately a size 8 in most other jean sizes.   I've been trying to cut down on carbs so re-introducing them tomorrow will hopefully lead to me still being able to consume them, just not in such vast quantities.   By vast quantities I mean like a whole pot of coffee for just me (12 cups plus a lot of adding sugar) and spaghetti and meatballs everyday.    It does have to change.   On my next cleanse my goal will is to do 2 yoga work outs each day.
